Ollies Restaurant

Ollie’s is a great place to have a fabulous lunch away from the crowds in Wells. My son and I had the beer battered fish with cheesy chips and, we were both in absolute heaven! We would come back for those fish and cheesy chips! The tartar sauce was delicious, and the mushy peas were wonderfully seasoned! My daughter had the sausage, gammon and egg. Absolutely cleared her plate. My husband had a sausage and relish (?) toastie that he really enjoyed as well. The restaurant is clean, friendly and all the staff are just nothing short of lovely.

Fantastic food and excellent service at this friendly pub at the top of the high street. Simple menu, nothing fussy, and good hearty food. Only mains and desserts available and I'd definitely recommend pre-booking; walk ins were being turned away as they were already full with bookings. We go here every time we're in Wells-next-the-Sea, it's fantastic! Child's menu also available.**Update: returned again this week (19th Aug 2024) and still fantastic as ever!

Just had Sunday lunch at Ollie’s, joined to the Edinburgh at Wells Next the Sea. 2 Roast Pork and a sharing seafood platter. Pork was well flavoured and tender and was accompanied by well cooked but not mushy vegetables. The sharing seafood platter was exceptional, so much seafood that we had to ask the waitress to pack the leftovers for supper. The chips were the best I’ve had for some time. Service was good, friendly quick and polite. Will we go back, you bet we will!!

The menu is really great and what comes out of the kitchen is just as impressive but most of all, the staffs and the service they offer here is just so heartwarming. The staffs are so warm and amazing. Always full of slimes and making sure you are having a lovely time. And that you are happy with the service you are receiving. An that all is okay. Really really love it here and cannot recommend it enough

First visit will definitely go back. Food, atmosphere and staff were lovely.There was a good choice of food on offer and was all reasonably priced.Our meal was served really hot, not a long wait from ordering.Definitely well worth a visit.
